The Muskegon soccer team avenged its only loss of the season, beating Ottawa Hills 3-0 on Monday night.
Carlos Hernandez-Sias and Jason Sandoval each scored first half goals to give Muskegon a 2-0 halftime lead.
Sandoval scored his second goal of the night two minutes into the second half to give the Big Reds a 3-0 lead.
The Big Reds outshot Ottawa Hills 11-4, Muskegon goalkeeper Micah Crocker had four saves and picked up the shutout.
“We played a solid possession game tonight” said Muskegon Coach Jeff Holmes. “We were able to dictate the pace of play and made sure not to overwork ourselves.”
