MCC earned its fifth straight win on Jesus Corona’s goal in the 78th minute.

Brandon Edwards assisted on the only goal of the game for MCC.

The defensive effort was led by Cody Loss, Matt KowalskiAlex Rop, Jared Jaekel, Eric Bourdo and Kyle Wansten.

Freshman goalie Hayden Collins made six saves in the game to earn his second shutout of the season.

The Jayhawks improved to 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in the conference.

With the win the Jayhawks took back the lead in the both conference and regional standings.
