Vikings 28, Lions 19 – Minnesota Vikings scored 22 unanswered points to erase an 11-point deficit as they defeated the Lions on Sunday.

LSJ Logo incertThe Lions jumped out to a 17-6 lead late in the first half on passing touchdowns from Matthew Stafford to Calvin Johnson and Eric Ebron and a 52 yard field goal by Matt Prater.

The Vikings responded with nine points in the final five minutes of the first half cutting their deficit to 17-15 at halftime.

Detroit’s lone second half points came on a safety with 1 minute left in the game.

Matthew Stafford threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns, while Eric Ebron and Calvin Johnson each had five Eye on the Dcompletions and one touchdown.

Stephen Tulloch and Josh Bynes each had eight tackles to lead the Lions’ defense.

Detroit is 1-6 on its season and will travel to London next Sunday to play the Kansas City Chiefs.
