Pistons 106, Hawks 94 – The Pistons opened the 2015-16 season win a road victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.

LSJ Logo incertKentavious Caldwell-Pope led the Pistons with 21 points, while Andre Drummond added 18 points and 19 rebounds.

All five members of Detroit’s starting lineup scored at least 15 points.

Hurricanes 3, Red Wings 1 –Carolina Hurricanes scored a pair of third period goals to defeat the Red Wings on Tuesday night.

Jakub Kindl scored the lone goal for the Red Wings, while Tomas Jurco picked up the lone assist.

Detroit’s goaltender Petr Mrazek took the loss, he stopped 18-of-20 shots.

Detroit is now 4-4-1 on the season, good for nine points and a fourth place tie in the Atlantic Division.

The Red Wings will host the Ottawa Senators on Friday night.
