Oilers 3, Red Wings 1 – Detroit Red Wings dropped their third straight game late Wednesday night, losing to the Edmonton Oilers.
Tomas Tatar scored the Red Wings lone goal, while Gustav Nyquist and Riley Sheahan picked up assists.
The Red Wings are 3-2-3 on the season, good for a fifth-place in the Atlantic Division.
Detroit’s goaltender Petr Mrazek took the loss, he stopped 25-of-28 shots.
The Red Wings will continue their Western Canada trip on Friday night against the Calgary Flames.
