Red Wings 3, Canucks 2 (OT) –Gustav Nyquist’s overtime goal with 1:10 remaining propelled the Red Wings over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night.

The Red Wings, who trailed 2-0 after two periods, scored a pair of third period goals from Teemu Pulkkinen and Tomas Tatar to force overtime.

The Red Wings are now 4-3-1 on the season, good for nine points and a third-place tie in the Atlantic Division.

The Red Wings will return home to play the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night for the third and final time of the regular season.
