The Trojans defeated Ludington in the semifinals 2-0 with scores of 25-13 and 25-22 and Spring Lake in the finals 3-0 with scores of 25-17, 27-25 and 25-12.

The Trojans also won the regular season league title and are overall Lakes 8 champions.

Katie Veihl led the Trojans with 15 kills while Jordyn Carlyle and Ally German added 12 kills each. Kelsey Schultz had 23 digs on defense for Fruitport and Alyssa Veihl chipped in 57 assists.

Spring Lake finished in second place, defeating Fremont 2-1 in the semifinals with scores of 19-25, 25-23 and 15-7, before losing to Fruitport in the finals.

Olivia Grimmer led the Lakers with 17 kills, Anna Denslow had 27 digs, Lauren Helman added seven blocks and Abby Moe chipped in with 41 assists.

The Lakers are now 17-18-1 on the season and 5-2 in league play.
