Grand Haven loses to Grandville in O-K Red football, 36-12

The Grand Haven football team was eliminated for playoff contention on Friday night, as it was defeated 36-12 against Grandville on Homecoming night.

The Buccaneers are now 2-5 on the season and 0-3 in O-K Red Conference play.

Joey Zelenka scored both touchdowns for the Buccaneers on a 41-yard rush and 53-yard reception.

Buccaneers’ quarterback Levi Overway passed for 83 yards and one touchdown.

James Harding led the Buccaneer defense with 12 tackles, while Matt VanHeest had 11.
