Kent City’s varsity volleyball team completed their perfect trek through the Central State Activities Association’s Silver Division Wednesday evening, as the Eagles swept Morley Stanwood, 25-18, 25-20 and 25-15 to wrap up the league title.
Kent City improves to 10-0 in the CSAA and 35-9-2 overall.
Kassidy Heeringa had 10 assists, two blocks and a team-high eight kills for the Eagles, while fellow setter Blaire Mortensen had 15 points, an ace, and 13 assists.
Meghan Boyd smacked down seven kills and Kelsey Krueger led the defensive effort with 23 digs.
