Muskegon Community College men’s soccer team falls 2-1 to Ancilla

The Muskegon Community College men’s soccer team lost a hard fought game to Ancilla Wednesday night 2-1 in Donaldson, Indiana.  LSJ Logo incert

The Chargers scored two goals early in the first half to take the two goal lead.

The Jayhawks struck back when freshman Danny Mazariegos capitalized on a foul in the Chargers goal box to get the score back to a one-goal game.

The second half was very intense and was a great defensive battle.

Goalkeeper Ben Fales made 12 saves in the contest to lead the Jayhawks.

With the win last night, Ancilla won the MCCAA conference title.

The Jayhawks now travel to Owens CC on Saturday to take on the Express.Ad 2 - Sprint
