North Muskegon’g girls golf team is in eighth place after the opening round of the Division 4 state finals tournament at Forest Akers East Golf Course in East Lansing on Friday.
The Norse shot a 393 team score and trail leader Kalamazoo Hackett by 49 strokes.
Abby Grevel led NM with a 93.
Lauren Bliss (95), Linsay Bliss (96), Madi Grevel (109) and Sarah Staniforth (132) rounded out the scores for the Norse.
