The Cardinals are now 2-4 on the season a 2-2 in conference play.

Ben Rodriguez opened the scoring with a 27-yard field goal to give Orchard View 3-0 lead with 5:08 left in the first quarter.

The Cardinals added to their lead with a 11 yard touchdown run by Keyshawn Summerville with 11:53 left in the second quarter to give OV a 11-0 lead.

The Orioles responded with a 27-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Collins to Andrew Jones to cut their deficit to 11-7 with 3:10 left in the second quarter.

Orchard View closed out the first half with a 49-yard touchdown run by Treshawn Kelly to take an 18-7 halftime lead.

The Cardinals’ Isaes Reyes scored the lone third quarter touchdown on a 24-yard run to give OV a 24-7 edge  with 7:19 left.

Ludington cut its lead to 24-13 on the first play of the fourth quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by Erick Quick.

Orchard View closed out the scoring with a 52-yard touchdown run by Jayden Day and a 32-yard field goal from Rodriguez with 11:20 and 5:51 left in the game, respectively.

Day led the Cardinals with 149 rushing yards on 17 carries, while Reyes had 51 yards on the ground.

The Packers are now 0-6 on the season.
