The Rockets started the day with a victory over Muskegon Catholic (25-14, 25-12) but fell in their second match to eventual city champion Fruitport (25-20, 25-16).

The sixth seeded Rockets moved on to the silver bracket after the loss and topped Ravenna (23-25, 25-11, 15-9), and Oakridge (25-21, 25-15).

Cam Vanderleest led the day for RP with six aces, 34 kills and 19 digs. Shelbi Adams had five aces, 17 kills, one block and seven digs, Brooke Larabee posted 14 kills and four blocks, and Emma Lynn had 10 aces with 39 digs.

Kalisa Williams added 11 kills, one block and eight digs, Kate Uganski had eight aces, eight kills, 36 digs and 53 assists and Ellory Farmer had 38 assists, two aces, three kills, 13 digs and one block.
