Spring Lake’s varsity volleyball squad remained a game behind leading Fruitport in the Lakes Eight Conference following the Lakers sweep of Orchard View on Tuesday.
Spring Lake prevailed by scores of 25-5, 25-14 and 25-10. The Lakers improve to 13-12-1 overall and 4-1 in league play.
Isabel Donnelly and Abby Moe combined to serve for 26 points for the Lakers. Moe also tallied 19 assists from her setter position. Olivia Grimmer led Spring Lake with 10 kills, while Anna Denslow was tops on her squad with seven digs.
