Kings 101, Pistons 92 – The Sacramento Kings handed the Pistons their second straight loss with a victory on Wednesday night.
Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris led the Pistons with 16 points each, while Andre Drummond had 14 points and 17 rebounds.
Drummond haseight straight double-doubles to start the season, the most to start a season for the Pistons since Bob Lanier in 1972.
Detroit trailed by 16 points heading into the final quarter, but could only cut its deficit to nine points.
The Pistons are now 5-3 on the season, good for a second place tie in the Central Division behind the first place Cleveland Cavaliers.
Detroit will head to Los Angeles to play a pair of games, starting Saturday against the Clippers.
