Red Wings 3, Kings 2-Dylan Larkin’s third goal in three game led the Detroit Red Wings over the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night.

Eye on the DThe Red Wings have gained five out of six possible points over their last three games.

Mike Green scored his first goal as a Red Wing, while Tomas Tatar tallied his sixth goal of the season.

Detroit’s goaltender Petr Mrazek picked up the victory, stopping 35 of 37 shots.

The Red Wings are now 10-8-2 on the season, good for 22 points and third place in the Atlantic Division.

Detroit will take on the St. Louis Blues on the road Saturday night.Eye on the D

Pistons 96, Timberwolves 86 – Pistons’ center Andre Drummond picked up his 12th straight double-double in Friday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Drummond led Detroit with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Reggie Jackson added 18 points and Marcus Morris had 16 points.

Backup center Aaron Baynes grabbed 11 rebounds off the bench.

The Pistons are now 7-5 on the season, good for a third place tie in the Central Division.

Detroit will head back home to take on the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.
