Red Wings 2, Senators 1 –Dylan Larkin’s game-winning goal at 5:54 of the third period propelled the Red Wings over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night.

Riley Sheahan added a goal for the Red Wings, while Justin Abdelkader, Jakub Kindl, Danny DeKeyser and Tomas Tatar each picked up an assist.

Detroit’s goaltender Jimmy Howard played solid in net, stopping 29-of-30 shots.

The Red Wings are now 6-5-1 on the season, good for 13 points and a fourth place tie in the Atlantic Division.Eye on the D

Detroit will travel to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday night.

Pacers 94, Pistons 82 – Indiana Pacers handed the Pistons their first loss of the season on Tuesday night.

The Pacers wiped out a six-point early second quarter deficit going on a 20-2 run.

The Pistons struggled taking care of the ball committing 23 turnovers and only scoring two points from their bench.

Andre Drummond led the Pistons with 25 points and a career-high 29 rebounds, while Reggie Jackson had 20 points.

Detroit is now 3-1 on the season, good for a first place tie in the Central Division.

The Pistons will head out west to start a six-game road trip starting Friday night against the Phoenix Suns.
