Sharks 3, Red Wings 2- The San Jose Sharks scored three unanswered goals to erase a 1-0 deficit in Friday night’s victory over the Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena.

Tomas Tatar opened the scoring early in the first period to give the Red Wings a 1-0 lead. The Sharks responded with two goals in the first period and one in the second.

Detroit’s goaltender Jimmy Howard took the loss, he stopped 11 of 14 shots.

The Red Wings are now 8-7-1 on the season, good for 17 points and fourth place in the Atlantic Division.

Detroit will go back on the road to play the Boston Bruins Saturday night.
