Fremont’s volleyball season has at least one more game left after the Packers beat Sparta in the Class B district semifinals Wednesday 
with a thrilling five set victory.
After dropping the first two sets (25-27, 24-26), the Packers responded by taking the next three sets (25-21, 26-24, 15-11) to advance to the district finals. They will play the winner of the Tri-County-Grant match on Friday night.
The Packers were led by Bryar Vasquez with 14 kills while Katie Parkhurst had 47 assists. Makalah Mongar added 33 digs.
