The Spring Lake volleyball team swept Orchard View in three sets in the Class B district tournament opener on Monday.
The Lakers won by 
scores of 25-8, 25-6 and 25-8.
Spring Lake, now 20-18-1 on the season, will face Whitehall in Wednesday’s district semifinals. Coopersville and Oakridge will meet in the other semifinal.
The Lakers were led by Olivia Grimmer with seven kills and five digs, while Lauren Helman added five kills. Abby Moe had four aces and 11 assists and Alli Pennington added four aces.
Caitie Estep had five assists for Spring Lake and Katie Mumby chipped in with two blocks.
