Wild 3, Red Wings 1 – The Wild’s Mikko Koivu’s two-goal third period lifted Minnesota over the Red Wings on Monday night.
Pavel Datsyuk scored the Red Wings lone goal of the game.
Detroit goaltender Petr Mrazek took loss stopping 32 of 34 shots.
The Red Wings are now 18-11-7 on the season, good for 43 points and third place in the Atlantic Division.
Detroit will continue its road trip Tuesday night against the Winnipeg Jets.
