Pistons 111, Lakers 91 – The Detroit Pistons gave the Los Angeles Lakers and their star guard Kobe Bryant a rude farewell in Sunday’s blowout victory.
The Pistons jumped out to a 15-0 lead, their best start since April of 2006 against the New York Knicks.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led Detroit with 22 points, while Reggie Jackson added 20 points and Andre Drummond had 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Anthony Tolliver had a strong game off the bench, scoring nine points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
The Pistons are now 12-9 on the season, good for fourth place in the Central Division.
Detroit will go on the road and take on the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night.
