The Muskegon Community College men’s basketball team collected its ninth win of the season with a dominating 98-70 victory over host Henry Ford Community College on Friday.
The Jayhawks hit eight 3-pointers in the first half to grab a 51-36 lead at the break. They built their advantage to nearly 30 points with 10 minutes left in the second half.
Marcus Tumblin had a big night for MCC, scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Eddie Tornes added 16 points, Aaron Sydnor had 13 and Will Roberson chipped in 10 points and seven assists.
The Jayhawks, ranked 22nd in the nation, improved to 9-1 on the season.
