The Mason County Central girls basketball team remained unbeaten in league play with a thrilling 60-58 victory over Hart on Friday in West Michigan Conference action.
The Spartans improved to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in league play. Hart dropped to 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the league.
Kylie Mount led Mason County Central with 13 points. Yasmine Colon paced Hart with 18 points while Baylee Draper added 13 points and 16 rebounds.
WHITEHALL 44, RAVENNA 18 – Melissa Shoup led the Vikings with 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Julie Brown had 15 rebounds. The Vikings defense allowed only six second half points.
SHELBY 66, NORTH MUSKEGON 24 – McKenna Peters scored a game-high 20 points for Shelby while grabbing six rebounds. Jenny Beckman and SaraJane Fortier scored 18 and 12 points, respectively, for the Tigers, who outrebounded the Norse 31-17.
