Pelicans 115, Pistons 99 – The New Orleans Pelicans scored 72 first half points to propel them over the Pistons on Thursday night.

LSJ Logo incertAnthony Davis led the Pelicans with 32 points and seven rebounds, while Tyreke Evans added 22 points and 10 assists.

The Pistons, who came off a 123-114 victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday night, are now 1-1 during the current four-game road trip.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope paced the Pistons with 23 points, while Andre Eye on the DDrummond added 19 points and grabbed 22 rebounds.

Brandon Jennings led the Pistons bench with 20 points.

The Pistons are now 23-20 on the season, good for a sixth place tie in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Detroit will continue its road trip on Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets.
