The Jayhawks (14-4, 4-1) had five players in double figures and two with eight points in the offensive explosion.

MCC improved to 14-4 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

“I am extremely pleased with how we executed on both ends of the floor,” said Jayhawks Coach Amanda Parker. “We have really been working hard the past couple of days on Ancilla’s offense versus our defense and it definitely paid off.

“Everything came together for us in regard to running the floor in transition, rebounding on both ends and passing through the press.”

Kaylie Caverley paced the Jayhawks with 17 points.

Three players posted double-doubles – Francesca Cerniglia (12 points and 13 rebounds), Bailey Freeland (11 points and 10 assists) and Jena’a Matthews (10 points and 13 rebounds).

Camaryia Williams added 10 points and eight boards for MCC.
