The Muskegon girls basketball team blew open a three-point game with a big fourth quarter and captured a 51-39 victory over Ypsilanti on Saturday.LSJ Logo incert

The Big Reds led 28-25 after three quarters, then outscored the visitors 23-14 in the fourth to secure the non-league victory.

Muskegon improved to 5-1 on the season.

Mardrekia Cook led the Big Reds with 25 points while Tierra Williams chipped in 14 points.
