Whitehall cut a 16-point fourth quarter deficit to five points, but couldn’t get any closer.

McKenna Peters led the Tigers (9-5, 7-2) with 18 points while Jenny Beckman added 14 points and SaraJane Fortier had 10.

The Vikings (3-10, 2-7) were led by Melissa Shoup with 16 points.

OAKRIDGE 72, HART 22 – Oakridge (11-2, 9-0) jumped out to a 26-8 lead after the first quarter and cruised to victory in a West Michigan Conference game. The Eagles were led by Sophia Wiard with 19 points while Hannah Reinhold added 18 and Brandy Weaver had 15. The Pirates (10-4) were led by Yasmine Colon with 14 points.

MONTAGUE 53, RAVENNA 33 – Montague (7-4, 4-4) jumped out to an early 14-5 lead after one quarter of play and didn’t look back. Claudia Rumsey paced the Wildcats with 15 points, while Sydney Stine added 12 and Emma Flagstead scored 11. The Bulldogs (2-10, 0-8) were led by Jessica McWatters with a game-high 16 points. The Wildcats also defeated Pentwater 46-13 in non-league action on Thursday.
