The schedule for the Ironmen’s inaugural season, which begins in March, reveals six home games at L.C. Walker Arena, along with four on the road.

The Ironmen will compete in a league that spans across the continent, known simply as American Indoor Football.Ironmen logo

The entire season will be focused on weekends, with the team’s first two games (the first away and the second home) on Sundays, and the balance of the schedule on Saturdays.

The home games will feature mostly 7:05 starting times, with a few 3:15 matinee kickoffs mixed in. The full schedule is published below this story.

The two-month regular season will begin March 13 and wrap up May 21.

“We drew some great dates for our fans,” said Ironmen owner Terrance “TJ” Williams.  “We have games separated out well so the fans don’t have to wait long in between games or are piled on with consecutive games.

“We are making an investment for this community.”

The Ironmen will open the season Sunday, March 13 in St. Charles, Missouri against the River City Raiders.

They will have their home opener a week later, on Sunday March 20, against the Northern Kentucky Nightmare, at 3:15 p.m.

The Ironmen will compete in the league’s Northern Conference, and eight of their 10 games will be against conference opponents – River City, the Saginaw Sting, the Chicago Blitz and the Marion Blue Racers.

The team will also play a “charity game” against a yet-to-be-determined opponent at home on Saturday, April 30.

Ticket prices for home games will range between $8 and $25, depending on seat location. Season tickets will be sold at various prices, also depending on seat location – $45, $65, $90 and $125.

Tickets are currently on sale. For more information visit the team’s website at WMArenafootball.com.
