LUDINGTON 47, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 37 – The Orioles hit several big shots early to jump out to a quick lead. Down the stretch they were able to force enough turnovers to keep the game in hand. Makayla Mesyar’s 15 points led the way for Ludington (10-8, 7-2). Kristen Riedenbach and Ali Plamandon pitched into the winning effort with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Dria Striker led the Spartans (9-10, 8-6) with 15 points.
REETHS-PUFFER 57, GRAND RAPIDS UNION 25 — The Rockets (15-4, 7-2) used an intense defensive effort to grab a conference win against the RedHawks(2-14, 0-9) on Tuesday. Reeths-Puffer jumped out to a commanding 17-2 first-quarter lead to set the tone. Elysia Mattos and Artrese Williams each had six steals for the Rockets, while Brooke Larabee grabbed eight rebounds. Brooklyn Daniel had nine points for GR Union.
