The Muskegon Community College womens basketball team defeated Ancilla 62-58 on Wednesday.
The Jayhawks improved to 19-7 on the season and 9-4 in conference play.
MCC outscored Ancilla 38-30 during the second half to overcome a four-point halftime deficit.
Morgan Giddings paced the Jayhawks with 15 points, eight assists, six rebounds and five steals. Tootie Thompson added 12 points and four rebounds, while Bailey Freeland had 11 points and four steals for MCC.
