The Montague girls basketball team defeated Hesperia 64-13 in a Class C district quarterfinal game at Mason County Central on Monday.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 16-0 lead after the first quarter and led 39-8 at halftime.
Claudia Rumsey paced Montague with a game-high nine points, while Hannah Smith and Courtney Lohman added eight.
The Wildcats, who improved to 14-7 (best record since 1998), will play Shelby in a semifinal game at Mason County Central on Wednesday.
