The Shelby girls basketball team defeated Mason County Central 55-42 in a West Michigan Conference matchup on Thursday night.
The Tigers jumped out to a 14-9 lead after the first quarter, 33-18 lead at the half and 47-31 advantage after three quarters.
Jenny Beckman led Shelby with 12 points, while Chloe Sillman and Brooke James each had eight points. Tori Mussell grabbed 11 rebounds for the Tigers.
