Jeff Beckman led the charge for the Tigers, scoring 20 points. Danny Beckman scored 19 for Shelby and Spencer Brown added 11. Brady Luttrull scored 17 points to lead the Eagles.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 50, MONTAGUE 45 — The Wildcats jumped out to a 19-8 first-quarter lead, but couldn’t maintain their hot start in a West Michigan Conference loss to the Spartans. The Spartans outscored Montague 16-8 in the second quarter and gained control by owning the fourth, 16-7. Mitch Lange led the Spartans (9-6 overall, 6-6 WMC) with 19 points, while Ryan Mount added 14. Dylan Stever paced Montague (7-8, 3-8 WMC) with 10 points, Josh Weesies added eight points and seven rebounds, and Erickson Abram dished off five assists.

RAVENNA 49, HART 41 – The Ravenna defense held Hart to two second-quarter points on the way to a West Michigan Conference victory. The Bulldogs (4-10, 2-9) were led by Nick Castenholtz and Trevor Hazen with 13 points each, while Dylan VanderZwaag led the Pirates (2-12, 0-12) with 11 points.
