Pistons 102, Mavericks 96 – The Pistons opened their four-game road trip with a victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.

LSJ Logo incertDetroit fell behind 28-26 after the first quarter, led 54-52 at halftime and held a slight 76-74 lead after three quarters.

The Pistons won their second straight game in Dallas for the first time since 1997 and 1998.

Andre Drummond paced the Pistons with 25 points and 17 rebounds, while Marcus Morris added 20 points and Tobias Harris chipped in with 19.

The Pistons are now 33-31 on the season, good for an eighth place tie in the Eastern Conference with the Chicago Bulls.

Detroit will continue its road trip on Friday night against the Charlotte Hornets.
