The Kent City boys basketball team railed to pick up a 39-35 Class C district semifinal victory over host Ravenna on Wednesday night.
The Eagles were up by seven points at halftime before the Bulldogs came out with a strong defensive effort in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs outscored Kent City 10-1 in the third to take a two-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Kent City secured the victory with a 16-10 fourth quarter run.
Chase Freeland led the Eagles with 12 points on the night while Fraser Wilson added nine points.
Kent City will face Muskegon Heights in the Class C district finals on Friday at Ravenna High School.
