The Mason County Central boys basketball team defeated Hart 50-35 in the Class C district quarterfinals on Monday night.
The Spartans jumped out to a 25-13 halftime lead, then extended their lead by outscoring the Pirates 10-7 during the third quarter.
Hart failed to cut its deficit as both teams scored 15 fourth quarter points.
Austin Tyndall paced Mason County with a game-high 15 points.
The Pirates were led Brett Bonstell with 12 points and seven rebounds.
The Spartans will play Class C district host Montague in the semifinals on Wednesday night.
