The North Muskegon boys basketball team appears ready for districts.

The Norse wrapped up their regular season with a 93-59 victory over Hesperia Thursday night inLSJ Logo incert non-league action.

North Muskegon, which finished the regular season 14-6, led 26-22 after one quarter, then pulled away.

The Norse used a balance scoring attack to capture the victory. Vernonell Smith led the way with 17 points and nine rebounds; Riley Fairfield had 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists; Erick Bleakley added 15 points, six assists, five rebounds and five steals; while Thomas Montgomery chipped in 12 points.

Hesperia’s Traxton Gordon scored 21 points and reached the 1,000 career point mark with a free throw near the end of the game.

Jake Palmer added 15 points for the Panthers while Nate McKeown had 10.
