The Whitehall softball squad swept two games from rival Montague on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Vikings captured the first game on Tuesday 13-8, then won the second game on Wednesday 15-8.lsj-fb-logo

Whitehall pitcher Kenadee Seemans picked up wins in both games, striking out a total of 17 batters.

In Game 1, Whitehall scored 10 runs in the seventh inning to erase a 7-3 deficit.

Whitehall was led by Katelyn Goodrich with a double and three RBIs while Bailee Spicklemire added a double, a triple and two RBIs.

Montague was paced by Brandi Rice with a triple and a home run.

On Wednesday, Goodrich led the Vikings to victory with a single and a double.

Montague’s Chase Jancek went 4-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI.  Rice added two triples and scored two runs.
