Victor Martinez had a strong game at the plate, hitting two doubles and knocking in a run while Nick Castellanos chipped in with two hits.

The Tigers’ starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann picked up his fifth straight win of the season, allowing one run on six hits while striking out seven batters in seven innings.
