The Fremont baseball team took two non-league games from Shelby on Thursday, 12-8 and 5-4.
Game 1 saw an offensive battle with 20 combined runs. Nathan Hoffman led the way for the Packers, going 2-for-5 with three RBIs. Calvin Miller, James Pekel and Brandon Clark each had two hits.
Walker Barrs led the Tigers with three RBIs while Kris Josephson and Dustin Carlson-Hicks each had two.
Game 2 was a tighter contest with Fremont winning by one run. Matt Yager picked up the win on the mound, allowing just two hits and two earned runs. Pekel and Hoffman had a hit and two RBIs each.
Shelby was led by Jon Hughey with two hits and Josephson with two RBIs.
