The Packers jumped out to a 7-0 lead before Ludington battled back with five runs in the seventh inning.

Fremont was led by Nathan Hoffman and Conner Cook with two RBIs apiece while James Pekel added a hit and an RBI.

Cook pitched the win for the Packers, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out eight batters in four innings.

The Orioles were led by Connor Tominski with two hits, while Jared Collins, Nathan Lange and Nolan Meeker each had an RBI.
