The Holton softball team improved to 6-4 overall in the season and 2-2 in conference play with a 7-3 and 8-3 doubleheader sweep of Kent City on Tuesday.

Holton (6-4, 2-2) was led in Game 1 by Courtney Slater and Mikaela Baker with a double and triple, respectively. Haylee Brant pitched the win, allowing three hits.

In Game 2, Slater had three hits, Rachael Moreen chipped in with a two-run triple and Emily Larabee added two hits for Holton.

Baker picked up the win on the mound for the Red Devils.
