The Jayhawks blasted their visitors 16-2 to improve their record to 7-10 on the season.

Pitcher Jordan Kelly collected the victory, pitching four innings while giving up two hits with five strikeouts.

Jake Sposaro led the MCC offense with three hits and two RBIs. Parker Richardson added a pair of hits while seven other Jayhawks had one hit apiece.

MCC is scheduled to open its conference schedule with a doubleheader at Schoolcraft College on Saturday afternoon.
