The Jayhawks improved to 31-11 on the season and 15-7 in league play, good for third place in the MCCAA Western Conference.

MCC was led by Amy Gillings with three hits, including a home run, and two RBIs.

Carrie Mesman added two RBIs for the Jayhawks while Candice Sutter chipped in with two hits and two runs scored.

The Jayhawks’ pitcher Morgan Engelsman picked up the win, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out two batters in seven innings.

MCC will host Ancilla in its next game on Thursday.
