The North Muskegon girls soccer team held on to defeat Grand Rapids Covenant Christian 2-1 in a non-league game on Thursday.
The Norse were paced by Abby Grevel with two goals while Kendal Hoppa chipped in with two assists.
North Muskegon led 1-0 at halftime and 2-0 late in regulation before Covenant Christian cut its deficit with four minutes left in regulation.
The Norse managed to hold on to their 2-1 lead as goalkeeper Gus Keur stopped nine of 10 shots.
