The Oakridge softball team defeated Hart 14-3 in a West Michigan Conference game on Monday.

The Eagles remain undefeated with a 13-0 record.

Oakridge was led by Sophia Wiard with a double, triple and two singles, while Hannah Reinhold had a two-run home run and Alyssa Fessenden chipped in with a double.

The Eagles’ starting pitcher Kayla Fessenden picked up the win, allowing three runs on two hits in five innings while striking out seven batters.

The game was a scheduled doubleheader, but Game 2 was postponed during the second inning due to lightning.
