Pitcher MaKayla Thompson struck out 12 batters to lead the Reeths-Puffer softball team to a 10-0 victory over Fruitport in the first game of a non-league
doubleheader on Thursday.
Makenna Johnson was 3-for-3 for the Rockets, Brooklynn Duffey went 2-for-2 and Thompson added a triple.
Fruitport won the second game 15-7. No statistics were available for the Trojans.
