The Whitehall baseball team maintained its undefeated season with a 3-1 non-league victory over Mona Shores on Thursday.
The Vikings, who are 4-0 on the season, were led by Casey Huizenga with two hits and an RBI, while Tyler Carnes chipped in with two hits.
Whitehall’s Erik Butzer picked up the win, pitching three scoreless inning while allowing two hits. Tom Balaskovitz closed out the game, allowing one run on two hits in four innings.
The Sailors (4-2) were led by Tyler Trovinger with a solo home run in the sixth inning.
