Fremont got on the board first just eight minutes into the first half, with Katie Parkhurst scoring an unassisted goal.

Montague found an equalizer 10 minutes into the second half, but the Wildcats could never grab the lead.

Freshman Taylor Crowley recorded the lone assist for the Packers. Fremont goalkeeper Sydney Essebaggers recorded eight saves.

Fremont advances to face Shelby in Thursday’s district semifinal at Ludington High School.
